John Crowley is a highly acclaimed and well-known Irish film and theatre director, who has brought his unique talent to both the stage and screen. He began his career in theatre, working as a director and assistant director on various productions in Dublin, Ireland. In 1997, he became acclaimed when he made his feature film debut, directing an adaptation of the classic Novel, Intermission. This was followed by his second feature film, Breakfast on Pluto in 2005, which won him a BAFTA award for best director in 2006.
