Jacqui Pretty is the founder and CEO of Grammar Factory, a technical writing and editing services organization. Jacqui is passionate about using her expertise to guide and support others in the successful development and execution of their projects. Before starting Grammar Factory, Jacqui assembled a broad skill set through an eclectic mix of professional experiences. She earned a B. Mgt. degree from the University of Technology, Sydney and then went on to specialize in linguistics and professional communications. As an academic and creative writer, Jacqui taught courses at the University of Sydney and was enlisted to develop online courses for government corporations. In her professional career, Jacqui holds a long list of accomplishments, which include being a Shell Fellow and a Senior Writer/Editor at two multinational firms. In 2006, Jacqui was awarded one of Australia’s top honors when she was named one of the country’s 50 Women of Achievement. Jacqui has built Grammar Factory into a state-of-the-art organization that specializes in technical writing, editing and proofreading services. The company works with a wide range of clients, ranging from publishing companies to government organizations. In addition to delivering services of the highest quality, Grammar Factory also offers value-added services such as editorial consultations, podcasts, and webinars.
