David McCullough is a renowned and highly acclaimed historian-author. For more than forty years he has been writing about people, places, and events in American history, which has earned him two Pulitzer Prizes and a National Book Award. He is the recipient of numerous honorary degrees and awards, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2006. McCullough is well known for producing historically detailed and captivating books.
